Thanks to the Maryland PTA’s MemberHub product, we now have an online store that will let you pay your dues online and activate your membership instantly. If you haven’t already sent in your 2020/2021 dues please go to the HHES PTA Store and sign up!
There will be an Open Forum on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 7pm Google Meet (https://meet.google.com/fxy-ooxr-doq). The purpose of this forum is NOT to engage in official PTA business but keep the conversation going between parents and teachers in these difficult and confusing times. We hope to discuss:
How we have all made our way through this first week of school
If we need to have an in-person PTA meeting this quarter, what should it look like?
What we can do as a PTA to keep student, parent and teacher morale high
How to make sure disadvantaged students at Harford Hills do not fall behind for lack of support
Please feel free to pass this message on to other parents and staff members and ask them to please fill out the PTA interest form at https://forms.gle/6AbQFR5z1Akm3thJ8 for updates when we are ready to hold an official PTA meeting for elections and budget approval.
Maryland PTA is holding an online Leadership meeting at the exact same time on Tuesday that I need to attend. I hope they will give good advice on how to officially begin our 2020-2021 PTA year.
Hi neighbors, if you have kids currently attending Harford Hills Elementary School please join the “Friends of HHES PTA” Facebook group as we kick off this very different and very challenging school year and try to figure out how to work our ways through it as parents and teachers alike. Thanks! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1639992019574850/
We’re still waiting for guidance on how to elect a new PTA board and safely and legally hold remote meetings. In the meantime we are allowed to hold “open forums” where we can come together online to talk and share our ideas and concerns about the upcoming school year.
